Worst buys - Gelert bag-type water carrier. Stank of new plastic, tainted the water we put in it with some terrible acrid stuff. Threw it away.
Also a folding (off brand) cooker stand. A bit like a clothes airer. Still quite big when folded up, but the worst thing is that the wind gets to our old feeble camping cooker from the bottom as well as the sides, Stuff never cooks.
Fortunately I have an ace backpacker's camp stove (Primus) which we get out to cook stuff when the 'big cooker' fails.
Can anyone recommend a good cooking windbreak?
