Hi, we have a bought a caravan with a bradcot classic awning but when we came to erect the awning it came minus the curtains, we rang bradcot and they want close on £50 for them, can anyone point me in the right direction towards getting something similar or hopefully cheaper.

Would of thought they were standard fixtures...cheek. Is there anyone you know can come to measure up and sew some up for you and you pay them. Also depends what connections to HOW they are kept up.Blasted things keep on either coming off or undoing. In the camplet we have we had to put little safety pins all along the smaller window as the bits kept coming off and so we put more on the gadgets on the front windows and the saftey pins on the side. Mind we did have our covered porta potti there so we did not mind it staying permanently shut Never known anyone to buy an awning with no curtains. Was it a new awning as then they should have them or pulling a fast one maybe.

just gone onto Google and put in search....caravan awning curtains..click and the top one there was one that may be able to help you
If the awning came minus the curtains I assume it came without the aluminium curtain rods. If this is the case then you will be hunting for not only a full set of curtains but a full set of rods as well. If it was me I would purchase a new set from Bradcot as I think that you would have to be extremely lucky if anyone has all the rods and curtains unless they're ready for the scrap bin. You won't be able to fit any type of awning curtains as the Bradcot system has loops above the windows where the rods slot in to. Not all curtains are fitted this way as different awning manufacturers use different applications for hanging the curtains.
hi,we had the same problem.try www.caravanstuff4u.co.uk. they do a set of 6 or 8 in various colours for about £25-quite good quality too.think they fit rods or clip onto rails

Hi, the curtains would be very easy to make, they are only hemmed around all edges and top edge has a fold over hem so you can get the pole through. You could then choose any lightweight material you liked.
With regard to the hanging rods, if you do not have them, maybe worth contact a company called the Tent & Awning clinic. They supply the plastic end stops for Bradcot awnings for the curtain poles and are only 50p each, they do not list the alloy poles on their website but maybe worth a ring as they may be able to supply these or you could use wooden dowling as a replacement.
