Never had a problem with cleaning the bottle. When I get home, I just rinse with fresh water first, then a drop of washing up liquid with hot water replace cap shake and then rinse out. I've been using the same orange juice bottle for two years now.

I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
As suggested earlier - just recycle 'pop' bottles. Ribena, Lucozade, Vimto, Spring Water, etc. Then bin them when you've emptied them.

I had a couple of those sistema twister bottles which were used for the girls school lunch boxes and they lasted a good couple of years (including being put in the dishwasher)until they eventually gave way (the plastic on the 'twister' part split). The lakeland bottle looks promising - might try to get one.
