after seeing this I ordered one on Sunday night,  arrived this afternoon looks very warm maybe even too warm for summer but looks like a quality bit of kit

Don't rule out Millets - their 3 season Eurohike Adventurer 300s have an excellent comfort temperature range (-2 to +25) and are often on a buy 1 get 1 free deal (were last time I looked about a week ago) making them about £25 each. We got 3 at the end of last year to replace our old Vango Wilderness 350s (including one for our 4 year old) and they certainly proved warmer than our Vango bags and full of the features of more expensive bags.

 Weve bought 4 Snugpak softie chrysalis winter sleeping bags and there fantastic and made in the uk . Weve been using snugpak sleeping bags for over 20years and there still going strong .but we needed new sleeping bags for our daughters 10 and 7 so for winter and early season we went for the chrysalis and we'll still use our old snugpaks in the summer . They allso have a neat feature so you can fold and clip the bag so as to make it a smaller warmer bag for kids

If your not intending to camp in the winter id go for the Autumn bag in the range

As the boys are only 7 could I have them on airbeds next to each other, have them in the sleeping bags they ahve then buy one and open it up and use as a guilt over the two of them????

I am thinking this as then I only need to buy one bag and can get another at a later date, making the expense easier
