Just thought this might be of interest to a few people. Tesco have reduced the price of their Value range Fan Heater to £9.50 in-store.
It's a basic fan heater, usual functions (off, cold blow, 1kw, 2kw) with thermostat and automatic cut-off switch on the bottom for if it gets knocked over.
Granted it probably isn't the most silent-running one out there, but for less than a tenner who can complain?
I bought one from Wilkinsons yesterday for £6. It has all the usual functions and can be used upright as well as lying down. I am very impressed with how quiet it is for the price. All their heaters were helf price. They had a convection, halogen and small oil filled radiator too.
Sorry to P on your chips but, Mrs bingobob bought one from Wickes last week for £6.50, worked a treat on our first camping trip to Spurn point last weekend. XXXX
I got one from Sainsbury's a couple of weeks ago half price, so £5.94 I think it was (some obscure figure!).

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
We purchased one in February from B&M Bargins, approx £7, we had a halogen one prior to that, but I could blow warmer air than the heat it gave out, nice glow though! will be trying the warm air one end of April - off to Scotland hopefully 1st trip of many this year
