I bought a couple of SIMs for the kids from Wilkinsons a couple of years ago and they were ok still using them now, unknown brand name but cheap

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
I went into Wilkinsons today bought another led ufo light, but their was'nt a great deal of camping stuff in. I did spot the BBQ bucket in it's own bag, very compact £12 tempted.

New Wilkinsons shop soon opening here. Not been in one before. What sort of camp stuff is worth considering? Not that I really need much.
Kenilworth allowing a Wilkinsons, I am surprised. If you take a trip down Crackley Lane to Cannon Park retail there is a Wilkinsons there.
I have bought quite a few bits from wilkinsons for camping....Heath..we have the bbq in its bag and its great, got clip on legs to keep it off the ground..in fact hubby and I had a bbq last night,Ideal size for 2,wouldnt like to try a family bbq on it though..bit on the small size, camping lamps are fine too...cheap and cheerful!

My lovely Brother in law is a manager at Wilko's and he told me today that quite a lot of stores will be getting there camping kit in over the next week or so. He said that there were quite a few new lines this year and the larger stores were due to have quite a lot of metres of floor space dedicated to it. Ouer!
I bought a camping lantern from wilkinsons when I went on my first trip two years ago, it is still going strong, cost £3.99 and is as good as any of the high-end lanterns millets sell...
I am a big fan of wilkinsons for most things, I do not however like homebargains or B&M, these are definatley stores to steer clear of
Wilkinsons also allow you to buy online and pick up in store... just a though. I've bought things before that our store didn't stock (or have in at the time). Instead of wasting time and checking back every couple of days, just order online and go in to collect.

I bought a couple of excellent pvc folding buckets last year (as a wash bowl and fire bucket) for a couple of quid, some knife, fork and spoon sets for compact camping, fleecy mattress covers for the airbeds and UFO lights, but missed the end of season SIM sell-off...
The quality has gone up in recent years, but still check things over first.
Oh yes - I also find their pencil cases useful for the emergency repair kit and washing line and peg bits.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
Thanks for replies. I'll have a wander around when it opens. They haven't stocked it yet, only just completed the build.
Road_Hog, several Kenilworthians are very surprised, especially since it's directly opposite a cheapy shop that sells almost anything.
Been built on what was a Buddens store that's been boarded/ bricked up for many years so people are pleased the eyesore is removed. Only had Robert Dyas open at Christmas.
