Terrible customer experience. Called the store on Wednesday 19th to check they had an outwell carpet in stock which they said they did. Placed the order online and heard absolutely nothing. Called on Monday 24th due to not hearing anything from them and again was assured the order would be processed. I asked them to check only to be called back and told that they had none in stock despite taking the money from me 5 days earlier. They said they would try and solve the issue and call me back. No call received and I had to chase them up. I was then told that there was a similar carpet in stock that would not be an exact fit but I could fold it over at the ends and that they expected me to pay another £20 for as it was more expensive !! I asked to speak to a manager but was told there were none on duty and that one would call me back prior to 10am on Tuesday 25th. Again, this didn't happen and I was yet again forced to chase them up at 11am. I was still told that they expected me to pay more for a product that wouldn't even fit the specifications I needed as otherwise, they would be out of pocket. This now means that I won't be able to purchase a carpet in time for a trip. Very disappointing approach to customer care and lacking of professionalism when it comes to keeping the customer informed. I'd advise would be customers to go elsewhere.
