Hi all, we are looking to replace our current system of water carrier using a 2 wheel trolley and 25 litre plastic container with a more easily transportable system, i.e perhaps an aquaroll.
We would appreciate any helpful comments on this before investing and any pitfalls!
We have a water hog, much the same as the aqua roll. wouldn't be without ours unless we're on a serviced pitch. You can pick the up off preloved or eBay etc and give them a good sterilising, saves a lot of money!
We have an aquaroll which is very convenient but I find I need a small water carrier too for road side brew ups etc. I have been looking for a 5l one with tap for ages and recently found this one http://www.roadking.co.uk/water-carriers/5-litre-water-carrier.html.
Aquaroll/water hog is the perfect solution. 40 litres of easily transported water. A couple of old shop bought mineral water bottles are perfect for en route stop offs.
Keep watchin Go Outdoors for their special offers. I bought a 40l Aquaroll from them last summer for £28.50

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
yes aquaroll and a 12v pump ,if your caravan is old and lacking the modern combined inlet and power dooda its simple to put a 12v socket close by and use the older type pumps to fill the onboard tank
Pyramid do a 30 litre Water Porter Caravan Water Container, very similar to the Aqua Roll, I say this because we are currrently offering one on EBay (used once). Here is the link

Stopped bothering to take our aquaroll for the last two years, just use a 5litre water bottle from supermarket and send kids to tap regularly. fresher water than an aquaroll thats been sitting in the sun maybe for hours. PamJ
I use a fiama 23 litre clean water roll tank.
I tend to refill it approx every 2 to 3 days, the advantage is that it sits under the caravan so the sun does not heat it up and you get fresh water every couple of days

Aquaroll or Waterhog are both ideal for the purpose. If you are going to spend a lot of time on superpitches its worthwhile buying a mains conversion kit which saves having to refill the aquaroll
