I recently saw a porch awning that the right hand side and top fitted into the awning channel and the left hand side you could add sections to get the best fit without covering windows etc. But... Ive lost the site. can anyone help

I think you might be referring to the new Bradcot Modus porch awning, which allows to to add a variety of entensions to get the perfect awning for each occasion.

It definitely sounds like the Bradcot Modus. We took delivery of ours whilst on a caravan club site at Easter. What a nightmare to erect. Luckily 2 fellow members came to our rescue but it still took nearly 3 hours to erect. Very impressed with it when it was eventually up. The instructions were not very good and we eventually ignored them. What we are now going to do is, sort all the poles and colour code them to hopefully make it easier next time. When order ours at the Caravan & Boat show in January, we were under the impression that the poles were fibre glass and would just snap open and then slide them throught the zipper pockets in the awning. This is not the case. The poles are Bradcots' Easy Alloy System, but each pole is a single pole. Disappointed with the pole system, still like the awning but knowing what we know now we would probabley not have bought it.
