we have got a big family tent gelert corvus 6+2 but we need a weekend tent for 1 nighters any ideas thanks all

Hi,

You could look at the Vango Tigris 400, it would be a tad tight for 5 (depending on size and age)but there are 2 bedroom pods, it is the tent we always use and we are more than happy with it.

We have the outwell virginia 5 - might be tight for 5 depending on size of 5 but a fab tent - only sold through yeomans and so fab that they put the price up by £50. Last year retailed for £149 ! OH and myself had it up and pegged in 20 mins on first ever outing and neither of us had pitched a tent for in excess of 20 years!

Hi Gear Mojave, depending again on size of your 5 peeps.  So easy to put up, just put ours up in garden to see if kalahari 8 canopy fits it.  Done it on my own while OH watched grand national on tv!!  Didnt need him at all until it came to canopy, which get us arguing every time!!  Mohave 5 good tent quite spacious, probably need to have big door up and open for cooking though, but for one/two nights who needs to cook, chip shop and various other takeaways do that for you !!
