I have recently changed caravans and the new one is a 2010 Europa which has a Truma changeover regulator.
I currently have a full 7kg and 4.5kg Butane cylinder, if I want to change to Propane cylinders, could I simply wait until one of the Butanes become empty, then buy a Propane pigtail and bottle then connect them both up at the same time?
The reason I want to convert to Propane is a freezing issue I had last November.

No, when one becomes empty the regulator automatically closes the M/T one then opens the other.
I just want to make sure it's OK to have a Propane and Butane linked up to the regulator.
In order for that to happen both bottles need to be turned on(ie bottle valves open)if you left one closed it would allow the other bottle to exhaust itself before you changed over to the other. Having said all that I would agree, I can't see what harm mixing would do, but the solution is there if you don't want them to mix.
