Or you could just buy a ready made first aid kit

I suggest buying a First Aid kit then looking at the contents and adding things that you feel you might need.  Often more plasters are useful.  I’ve added a lot of things to mine to make it exactly what we need.  In many ways when camping you need a cross between a first aid kit and a medicine cabinet with things like antiseptic cream and painkillers added to the basic kit.

-------------
We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

Hornet? Those things are massive and evil looking, saw one up close at Chatsworth last year, doesnt top the woodwasps you get in Scotland tho with the big long stingers. thise are like a small bird and the wing flaps are loud when chasing you on horseback through the woods.

Im looking at 1st aid kits myself and on Amazon the St johns ambulance ones look good.

on the lookout for a new kit, got a LifeSystems one that has been great but falling apart now

looking at the waterproof Lifesystems one, for less than £20 it has a decent selection (inc resusciaid) but also a good strong case - be careful where you get it as the GO Outdoors ones dont have the resusciaid in - unless your not bothered, being a canoeist I will have to buy online

Top additions: comppeed blister kit, spray skin and germelene with anaesthetic

I can particularly recommend the St Johns kits. There is a company in london called "St Johns Supplies" that supplies all types of first aid supplies including some good kits and refills

The best type of first aid kit to get is one of those that are supplied to up market cars like Mercedes etc.

You can buy these on ebay.

There is usually a fair bit of shelf life left on them and we have 3. One for each of our cars and one for the FC.

We only had to add a couple of extra items to suit our own needs.
