We are buying new airbeds this year, can old ones be used for anything?. We use a roof rack and need a new cover so was going to cut one for that, anything else? What about under the beds?. Any thrifty ideas!

You could cut out a piece to put muddy shoes on.

I use them under picnic rugs (cut and opened or the double ones)for sitting on damp ground and hubby uses them for lying on whilst working under cars. I,ve tried them as mulch mats which worked ok for the green canvasie type around shrubs with chippings over the top.

i have an old double rubber airbed which i use as a cover for my trailer, just secure it with bungees

I cut up two double size old box type air beds removed the sides and inner cotton ties and use them as four spark guards when welding.
