Have just bought the Cadac Carri Chef Deluxe Combo. We have a pizza stone at home, which I'm sure we could use in the Cadac rather than buy a new one, but how would you use it? I'm thinking it would sit on top of the pot stand????
I have a safari witch has none but after looking ,I think you are right. It would seem to just to sit on top. Bit peeved can't get one for mine. Look's the biz. Save me a slice..............
Just used the cadac carri deluxe to make a pizza. . . . Well. . . . I must say it was the best pizza I've ever tasted, all the family agree. Added a little skimmed milk powder to the dough mixture to make it like pizza hut dough too.
I put our own 12 inch pizza stone straight on top of the deflector, it balances very well.
Left it there with the lid on for about 10 minutes or o so the stone could get up to temperature, then slid the fresh pizza straight on.
It was cooked in less than 10 minutes with the lid on.
The base was really nice and crisp, the crust was risen perfectly and the topping was perfect.
Next time we make a pizza I will definitely be using the cadac.
So far I'm really impressed with this beast, got one for home and caravan too.
