One point to remember:-

In the event of a frontal collision, items in the rear of the car travel upwards at about 45 degrees from the horizontal and at the same speed as that which you were doing.  It is important therefore to secure the cylinder to the floor or side of the boot.  One of those adjustable straps should be OK. 

It is not enough just to stop it rolling about by wedging it in.

Don't forget to use it because, believe it or not, some people say that it makes their eyes go 'funny' when they look in their mirror !!  Better to have funny eyes than a hole in the head.

I found by accident the Black plastic plug that screws in to the thread is capable of stopping the gas coming out even if the tap is turned on so now I always replace it tightly for transportation and storage
