I have just had a mailer from Maplin's with a 15m EHU cable reel with built in RCD for under £30!

No MCB,only 15m of cable,cable is only 1.25mm and I suspect that the cable is possibly not to the required spec for use outdoors at sub zero temperatures.

I personally would pay the extra and get a "decent" one
