Don't know what its like as I've never tried it but you can download them from home and watch on the Iplayer software from your HDD. At least that way it doesn't matter if your in a bad signal area
We have a freeview dongle that I bought from Aldi for about £20 it works fine and you dont need to go onto the internet to watch it.You are however restricted to freeview channels.Cheers.Alex P.S I also have an internet dongle to surf the web but it is not a cheap option.I wouldn`t waste money on iplayer and the likes
however with it plugged into the big camping aerial(the ones they come with are useless unless you are sat under a tv antenna)it picks up more channels than the freeview tv i have...

I always use the small aerial supplied with mine and I have had no trouble.Sometimes depending on where you are you have to retune your freeviiew channels.Which normally does the trick.I used to carry a tv, small dvd player.Portable aerial.No more of that nonsense.It`s now laptop all the way and an Ipod and speaker dock.Its an entertainment system all in one
