Hello Lou,

We were just wondering the same thing about Awaydaze awnings, like who are they,what's the quality like.  To be honest I hav'nt seen one in the flesh yet, I know towsure sell them so I think we will give them a whirl. We did consider Pyramid Tuscany because they had some good features(that's untill we saw one at Tamworth Camping and it feels cheap). So what a nightmare all this hunting for THE awning, its hard work. What's more you have an idea what your after, then you have to keep upping your budget. Hope your insurance has paid out!

Hi Lou, That's great that they paid out quickly and you got a awning you love.

 I have just found out about Awaydaze and they ACTUALLY made in the same factory as Pyramid in china, the quality is about the same as the Pyramid so we have given them a miss.  The wife bought a brand new Quest Sandringham off Ebay for £430, which is about the same price as the Awaydaze or Pyramid Tuscany but the Sandringham is a world away from them in quality.
