Hello again all,
have just ordered ours from outdoor MEG, peak were awaitng stock when I phoned, we were getting fed up with being let down (!) by our airbed, and ours wasnt a cheap one, they all seem to "go" after a few seasons use so will share experiences when we have used it (hope you lot havent been LYing to me ha ha!)they do seem to be selling out quite rapidly though so another winner from good old Outwell I guess and yet another adornment for our NORFY"
SIGH! seem to have succumbed (finally) to the Outwell quality control gremlins, received SECOND one today, returned the first due to faulty stiching and a side pole poking through now THIS one has holes in the end of the R/H side!! will say Outdoor megastore have been very good and they are going to inspect the third one before they despatch it. If you are buying one inspect ASAP and dont put up with any defects I am sure Outwell will get the message eventually!! :-(
Sorry to ressurect an old thread. I want to know how wide people find each side of this double bed? I like to lay on my front with one leg up and opposite arm up! Weird I know. But i cant sleep any other way. Im not skinny and last thing i want is the side bars digging in me.
We love our posadas and used it for a long time on its' own. Last year we purchased SIMS, these made the bed even better and we both have a great nights sleep.
We do use "feet" and find that thick coffee jar lids or thick metal one do the job fine (I too was worried about the feet digging into the groundsheet). The beauty of these is that they are easily replaceable.
Millerblade - If you use SIMS with the posadas bed, you should not feed any bars. I don't have the size (it's in the loft), but it is not as wide as a double bed - you may be able to sleep the way you do but your OH may not have much of the bed!! My OH is not a small chappy, but he does have to keep to his part of the bed!!

Hi we have been let down by our airbed last weekend it was not a cheap one either. We are thinking of the posadas as well as off to France for 2 weeks soon. Do you really need a SIM on top if away for 2 weeks if so any recommendations.
Just bought ours today, after being let down buy taunton leisure phoned to check stock, told had 1 in stock, got to shop sorry we don't have one. (Was not impressed)
Got home and searched the interweb, newquey camping have just received the last 50 from outwell, so ordered one being delivered Tuesday. Best part of all this, £53:99!!!!
So if you are after one (a double) then try them)
Good price, so had another look on there website, and bought a nice new outwell sleeping bag to go with it!!
Will post a review of it when we receive it!! Happy camping!!

Hi Joncooper27. I haven't slept on mine for 2 weeks solidly, but I don't think you need a SIM. It will add a bit of extra comfort should you require it, but it's not essential. We found it perfectly comfy without. For insulation, just throw a blanket or two on top.
