I've got a Citroen Berlingo which I know is not a hugely uncommon car. However it's got weird storage inside the main body of the car, a big shelf above the driver and passenger's seat, and some nets along the sides above the windows. I'd like to use all the space when we do our big summer holiday, but also obviously I want to keep safe and need to make sure nothing is going to fly around the car as we drive. Space is at an absolute premium though so I must use every available inch!!
Other Berlingo owners, do you use this interior space? And if so, how? What do you put in there?
Thanks
Jessica

we have a similar challenge to carry large kites and canoe paddles and the roof space would seem perfect, the shelf at the front seems strong enough
there was a thread on the berlingo forum where a chap made interior roof bars but I think it looks a bit risky to me
Not sure if you are using all the back seats for passengers but when we have 4 in the car we fold the smallest seat down and stack boxes there as the base is flat/stable

Oooh that's a good idea, at least you could put bedding or stuff like that up there, I have only had the car a couple of months and didn't realise those were bolt things for bars - cunning!
Yes I will be using all the seats, there are 5 of us. The little people do not need foot room so there's a bit of space there.
Thanks for posting that, got me thinking....
