The facts are, on completion of Digital Terrestrial switch over, fewer places will be able to receive a TV signal, than could before, with the Analog Terrestrial system.
This is why Freesat (from Sky) the Freesat from BBC/ITV was introduced, in a bid to sort out those folk, who now can only get a TV signal via Satellite.
This is all due to the fact, that the millions of £'s that the government has made from this transition, has not been spent on building new and extra Digital Terrestrial transmitters.
And of course, campsites are nearly always in a bad signal location for Terrestrial signals, they were with analogue, but the comming of Digital has made things worse not better.
So unfortunatley, satellite is the only effective solution.
