i know im opening a can of worms by starting a post about cobb vs cadac lol

but i think im 90% sure i am going to go with the cobb as i prefere proper bbqs to gas one but how much can you cook on either as im a family of four and oh daughter and bf is coming this year to so the question is which can cook for more on ??

Never had a Cobb so I cannot comment.

However, I bought a Cadac Safari Chef a couple of years ago when I read that it is common for French campsites to ban the use of charcoal BBQs in dry weather.

Also, my preferred methods of cooking are pan-frying and stir-frying, and the Cadac's heat supply is more readily available and easier to control, IMHO.

Imo the cobb is too small to cook for 6 people unless you are happy to do seperate sittings. we have gone with the cadac and would never go back to the cobb now
