Hi, have just bought a Gelery Horizon 8 blue, needed a porch - not made any more. Called a camping shop & asked what would fit - they suggested a Vango tigris 800 side enclosed canopy. Not having ever erected a tent or canopy before I'm not sure if the canopy fits.

Firstly the height of the porch is higher in spec than the tent height. Is that right? Secondly, we weren't able to adjust the tent tension properly due to our garden being too small & so the whole lot was a bit slack - will it fit better when taught?

How do I know if the canopy fits, or am I being too fussy? Some advice on canopy fitting would be great!

You could phone them and ask nicely if they might sell you one without the tent, although it does let you add one to your basket without a tent - worth a try?

I've just been going through the advertisements on here in the Tent category, someone is selling, blue Horizon 8 tent, footprint and porch - will separate so worth contacting them.
