Hi All,

After much consideration, deliberation and reading of various threads here, we have finally decided to splash out on a 3 way fridge. (Am soooo excited at the prospect of having COLD and not luke warm beer!)

Anyway, I've read threads stating you can run two items off one gas bottle using a clever T or Y piece but am unsure where in the set-up this goes!! I'm assuming it goes- gas bottle, regulator, T/Y piece, and then two pieces of hose going to each item. Is this correct or does the T/Y piece go before the regulator (in which case I need to get another regulator).

Also do I need to purchase some clip things as well and, if so how and when should I use them?

Thanks in anticipation of your responses.

Mandy

That is correct, regulator on bottle-hose-Y piece-2 hoses. Yes you need small jubilee clips to secure hose ends. Dip hose ends in boiling water to soften them to go on easily.

Mandy

If you're not sure how to make the connections I would suggest getting them done by someone who knows what they're doing. If you go to your local supplier & buy the bits I'm sure they'll do it for you. It's not worth risking leaky joints, they must be done correctly.

Hope you enjoy the cold beer once it's up & running.

add quick release couplings after t/y piece so you can use each device on their own or both together
