Never used electric hook up before when i have been camping and would like 2 use it next time. Is it ok 2 use it in bad weather i.e. rain? Complete newbie!!

Yes it's fine to use it in rain, one end plugs into the electric post and you feed the other end (with the plugs and RCB) inside the tent. Aldi have them coming up for £39.99 in the next week.

Unless you have a very leaky tent!

Use the clips on the back to keep it clear of a potentially wet floor.

Always, always stand the unit on something. I use those little fold flat stools that garages were selling last year for a couple of quid, they are extremely stable. I also stand my slow cooker on one, in fact anything electrical MUST be off the ground for safety. These little steps are brilliant and if I see them again this year, I'll buy another couple.

We have camped in some awful weather and our hook up has always been fine.  Don't worry you will never look back once you have used one.  You will wonder how you went on without it.
