The thing is about having a carpet, it fits the whole floor - once you've got it under a couple of things eg tables, it will stay in position, unlike rugs which might slide about

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
definately yes. Protects SIG feels cosy and homely underfoot and doesnt slide around, they are expensive, but look for deals, go outdoors usually have something on offer.
Hi folks, A big yes from me, yes they are expensive but worth it for that extra comfort, nice under foot when its a bit chilly. We bought ours last year befor a September trip it was well worth it, a fellow camper said you are now "clamping" never heard of that before, had to laugh when he explained.
I have been looking on the net and the cheapest icarus 600 carpet is £45 with delivery, I cant find sizes on any other makes its very strange, we are going to buy a carpet tho for sure!
I have brought 3 Fleece type throws from Ikea & today i purchased some of the anti slip matting from B & M so am going to try that just to add some comfort to our tent.
As this will be our first camping trip for a long time i do not think spending nearly £70 plus for the carpet to fit our tent is an option at the moment.
