Hi

Please can someone help woth make of airbed - I have been using Colemans beds but have had frequent punctures with these.;

I have since bought an aerobed as have read rave reviews about these - have tried it one night at home and whilst it did blow up really quick with the battery operated pump which was very handy - it didnt seem particularly firm and definately deflated during the night, so i am not sure how it would stand up to a weeks camping?

I have been told that you cant beat campingaz blow up beds - I am wondering whether I sshoudl return my aerobed to argos for a campinggaz airbed as I am sure thes wont deflate - any tips please ?? the aerobed was expensive and if others have experienced it deflating I will return it!

We have had our Aerobed for over a year now, used it several times camping and have NEVR had a ny issues with it de-flating........

I would contact Aerobed and tell them the problem - it sounds like you have been sent a duff one and should either get your money back or a replacement.

Not tired the Campingaz bed though - so can't help with that.

I find you need to top up an aerobed after a few hours. I think its to do with the air getting colder and contracting. Once you have done this it will stay that way all week. last time we used our new electric blanket and , as the air inside got hotter, it bulged out like a balloon! had to let some air out.

on another note, we have had several aerobeds (they're not as bomb proof as people say) and the new one ( active +) is extremely noisy when you move in the night. i have emailed aerobed about this but they have simply ignored me

We have both  The Camping Gaz one is a few years old now and is still going strong but needs 'topping up' every day or so.  The Aerobed is far more comfortable and as someone else has said  needs inflating a bit more after the first night but then it's fine.

Same here aerobed far more comfortable, but very expensive, our never went down. camping gaz good value for money, occasional top up required, not too much of a problem though.
