Hi all, I inadvertantly ordered two of these when when I only wanted one this morning.

That said,I paid £59.99 each which is alot cheaper than some places.

Are these beds all that they're cracked up to be??????

Yes it is but thinking about it I might as well take two because there's five of us so only one single to buy.

That said, is everyone happy with the ones they have bought?????

Took delivery of a double Outwell Posadas bed yesterday, seems very well made and comfy. 12.9kgs mind you, but very easy to put up and down, seems a much better option than an airbed based on our experience (3 in 2 years, all rubbish).

Hi Spurs Dave, would you consider keeping one double and returning the other one and instead getting 3 singles?

I bought a double Posadas this week and returned it for two singles instead and am happier with this.  Two singles offer me more flexibility inside the tent (and to camp with people who are not necessarily my partner and who I want more space from when sleeping!), they are less bulky, smaller pack size so easier to pack 2 singles into the car than 1 double.  I found that the double wasn't any "cosier" than 2 singles next to each other because of the metal bar bar that runs down the middle of the double bed between both people anyway.

The quality of single or double is excellent and you won't regret the Outwell purchase, whichever models you decide suit you best.

Follow up on the Double Posadas camp bed. Having taken delivery we noticed one of the plastic bar ends was cracked. Not the end of the world but having paid £64.99 (the cheapest we could find) thought I'd drop the retailer an email via the website and see if they could send a replacement platic plug thingy. Email sent Thursday night Small jiffy bag arrived Saturday with two replacement parts! Excellent service from the company concerned, if anyones interested the company name was value tents.

Are seriously considering buying a single for our little one now!

Well thanks for the replies.

Mine cost 59.99 each but like I said I ordered two by mistake.

Funny thing is they've not arrived because they are OUT OF STOCK!!!!

I'm going camping on Friday up to sunny Norfolk and if they haven't arrived then

no super injunction will stop me naming them

we got ours a few weeks ago and have used it twice now and we love it, much more comfier than an airbed, it's also lovely to sit up and get out of bed than roll on to my hands and knees to get up lol.  We got a double memory foam mattress to put on top which makes it even more like a normal bed.  Will replace it with another when it's had it

They arrived on Friday as planned but unfortunately one was broken so is being sent back.

That said, they  are the business.I've only laid on them and can't wait to put them to the test next week hopefully.

Yes indeed no more contorting the body just to get up in the middle of the night for a wee.

I just hope they fit in the sleeping area of the tent.

I was looking into buying a double camp bed and was interested to read about the memory foam mattress on top.  Is it a mattress topper?
