Hi all
We've got THESE CHAIRS good quality and very comfortable, biggest plus we have found is the legs can be adjusted individually so ideal for lounging or sitting at the table, use them for camping and fishing so only need one type of chair which is a bonus.

Think you may get a better price if you shop around.

Regards macaw

Hi, i purchased a Quest Superlite last year, they hold upto 130kg and are large and comfy.  I am on the larger size and the back rest is high so it supports you, you dont end up with a bar digging you in under your legs and you can also recline.  They fold up into a bag but are larger than your normal supermarket cheapy ones.

This year i purchased a Royal adjustable chair (similar type) for my husband but this is not as big or does not take as much weight so these type of chairs are not all the same.

I am really pleased with my Quest chair and do not use anything else now.  You can find them for sale on ebay.

Regards Janette

Can i just say (and please do not question how I do know) but the one I recommended holds ALOT more than than which is quoted

I found the weight restriction for these chairs as I am always looking for a stronger better chair.
Janiebabes I'm not going to ask in public how you know it takes more, but I'm looking for something that will take about 20 stone or 130kg or more.

Found the above thread and found the Kampa one to cover my weight.
The problem isn't just my weight (which is enough on it's on) but on occassions my 11 year old daughter attempts to sit on my knee and she doesn't understand that she can't whilst away camping. (she has autism with learning difficulties) It was with her sitting on my knee that the stitching went on my current one, which would have been fine otherwise. But there is this plastic bit which has sort of snapped at the stitching and this plastic bit keeps digging in my leg making it uncomfortable.
Glad I had bought it at the time though as it was a very nice chair and hubby can still use it (he's a lot smaller than myself)and it was the sturdiest one I had seen before.

I'm thinking of buying one of                 these

Cost is approx £55 ($89.99) incl shipping and the reviews are really good.
Ok if space is not a problem.

If you look at these Royal President, they have the criss-cross legs PLUS the vertical legs for added stability. I had a Gelert two years ago and the black joining bits at the end of the criss-cross legs fell apart after one or two weeks and I am only 13 stones.
