Does anyone here own a son of hibachi BBQ (marketed in the uk as the brand "grilletto") and know where I can purchase accessories? I'm looking for the solid grill and rotisserie attachments but so far can only find sites in the US that don't offer an option of international delivery.

Any pointers would be greatly received !!

Thanks
C

I am afraid I cannot really help you.... I do have the rotisserie, see here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXZT3Opzxxw

But I bought it in the USA.

However...... The motor for my Hibacho rotisserie gave up the ghost and as walking through a local garden centre I noticed this:

http://www.notcutts.co.uk/Motor-For-Dancook-7000-Box-BBQ-Spit/pid-00262112?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=shoppingfeed

It is pretty much the same as the official Hibachi motor (Probably made by the same company). I only needed the motor and it works great, but I also noticed they make the spit too:

http://www.notcutts.co.uk/Spit-For-Dancook-7000-Box-BBQ/pid-00262108

Perhaps this could easily be retrofitted to the Hibachi? I didn't use the spit so I cannot promise anything, but if you are D.I.Y. capable then I am sure it would not take much effort to get it working.

Heh I've seen that YouTube video before, looks amazing... Was that yours? I'm curious did you foil up the pork first before getting that crackling or just let it go on the coals?

I'm not sure if you have had any success with this but I got some solid grills shipped from the US from http://www.sonofhibachionline.com/

Send them an email and they'll send you a Paypal invoice for the cost. Delivery was under a week. You need to beware that you may have to pay import duty although I've placed 3 orders to date with them and haven't had to pay duty on any of them.
Not sure of the exact cost as I ordered a rotisserie at the same time but I've just ordered some replacement standard grills (which are more expensive) and they worked out at $55 shipped.

I have the rotisserie but like others I got it in the States too just email a couple of US suppliers and ask them if they will ship internationally and what they will charge.  Only thing is that postage from the US to the UK went up quite dramatically around 18mths ago

I owned one of these.

Loved it, but had to send it back due to the grills cracking. Got so bad the coals fell thru. Would buy one again if I could source parts. It is a shame. Nature of cast iron and really thin grills. Waiting for the next model and a UK supplier.

Mine has lasted well, I have used it a couple of times a week all through the summer for the last 3 years.

I've noticed that they are listed on Amazon and dispatched by Amazon themselves now so might be a good place to buy.
