Hi
We dont have moon chairs but my friends do and love them!! however i have sat in theirs and find the bar under my legs digs in and is really uncomfy infact it hurts me! I have really skinny legs so not sure if this makes a difference!!
Aldo - I would just like to point out that you have just cost me 75.00 as I could not resist the 2 hi gear recliner chairs that you recommended. They look fab and are a great price with the current offer!!
All I have to do is sneak them into the car without my husband noticing.........!
As with practically all of our camping kit he complains that it is excessive and not required......until he uses it and then he soon changes his tune!! Anyhow, his chair has broken, we do need another one .....so it is sort of allowed!!

I found moon chairs uncomfortable for the same reason as saz and I don't have particulary skinny legs I tried about four makes and different sizes but they just didn't feel comfy. I'm sure those really deep padded ones must be lovely but the pack size must be quite big? I think you definitely need to 'try before you buy' to find a chair that suits.
We tried out the Hi Gear Moon chairs (which I assume are the same as the Gelert ones) at Go Outdoors an to be honest didnt find them very comfortable

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
i was in agony with aching legs after sitting in our original smaller moon chairs, but the Vango DLX ones we have now seem much more comfortable than those ones, plus they're absolutely massive and fold up "relatively" small...
i do agree with No Faff tho...if at all possible, try before you buy...we couldn't unfortunately as no one anywhere near here stocked the chairs we'd shortlisted, so had to take a chance after reading many online reviews...now all we need are some nice thick fleeces to make the chairs even more snuggly...

we have 3 of the red colorado hi gear ones and 1 green gelert moon chair. the gelert one gets the most use and the mterial and stitching hasn't parted company yet. the higear ones have some splitting issues. all of them are comfy though
