where is the best place to look for a system?we want to use it for our folding camper.dont want a really expensive one,but one that will do if we manage to get abroad at some time,
have a look on sat gear website, they sell them with the easyfind system not cheap but according to reviews does what it says on the tin.you need different dish sizes for abroad, which is explained on their website.
Richard is going to have a play with the one he got from Aldi tomorrow. I will be in hospital with Pip so will luckily miss out on the cursing and swearing as he sets it up.
Hi I bought an Aldi one two days ago but after comments on this site and the excellent link, satellites for caravans, (which everyone should read if thinking of a satellite), I took it back today. We mostly caravan in scotland where many areas struggle just to get a tv reception and where the weather is usually wet and windy. On taking all the advice, which stated that any dish at 35cm was just too small for covering the whole of Britain and in particular Scotland and Ireland and would be affected by the weather. Going down to B &Q tomorrow to get an 65cm dish with receiver for £25. Even allowing for buying a signal finder(£15) it even works out cheaper than Aldi's. They gave me a no quibble refund in Aldi so using this to purchase this one.
