Hello,

Can anyone help with our SIG problem?  We have an Outwell Minnesota 4 which survived 40mph winds this weekend but the sewn in groundsheet was blowing up in the air!  Tried to weight it down the best we could in the corners using our chairs and rucksacks but it still had a mind of it's own!

We have exactly the same problem with our Vermont when it's windy. We just do what you did - weigh it down with furniture or whatever else comes to hand.

Just make sure that you have the corner pegging points pulled tight - if they're loose, then there's more room for the air to get under and the billowing effect gets worse.

we had same problem this windy weekend!! and I am thinking clingons!? thought these little gems may help, not sure if I am right? we found once the wind got under the sig , we could never straighten sig out properly again so the more ground anchors the better?? may be worth a try?
