We splashed out on an areobed as we both suffer with bad backs and WOW. It was so comfy. Easy to inflate and deflate. We got the Kingsize double height and it was like being in bed at home. Would recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I both have bad backs (I suffered with dreadful sciatica until a few months ago). We have just come back from a few nights away and I am huddled over like a old lady. We have discussed getting an aerobed but wasn't sure if they were worth the money.
Do they have the same problem as most other airbeds where you have to top them up with air as they gone down a bit at night?

No it didn't need pumping up. It needs mains but you can get an adapter for the car if you don't want hook up. It was so much easier than trying to get off the floor too as it's bed height. Ebay have them half the price of other places too.

I sleep on a camp bed now outwell or sunncamp the big one that the size of a single bed with memory foam on I sleep far better on that then I do our bed.I too have sciatica and unstable pelvic bone so sleeping is a nitemare.
We have a aerobed premier raised king and I love it, I like the normal bed height and that on our model you can inflate/deflate to your preference whilst lying in bed. I tried it out at home before we went camping and we have a v expensive mattress at home and the aerobed was just as comfy. I could easily sleep on it all the time
I've just come back from four nights on mine. They are very comfortable indeed, I didn't need to top up at all and with mine it comes with a rechargeable pump so I don't need EHU or to run it off the car.
