Does anyone have any experience with the Jilong raised double beds that Tesco are flogging? £45.00 seems reasonable for a raised bed with built in pump. The Tesco customer reviews seem positive but I wondered how the more seasoned camper had faired with one?

The sound of silence? I presume it must be a newish brand then. They do look like good value for money on the face of it at least.

I'm considering buying one of these airbeds. It would be great if anyone can give feedback or advice about airbeds. They're on offer at Tesco at the moment.

For another few pounds you could get the Aerobed which seems to get praise on here. The Aerobed Double can be bought for £53.99 (normally £74+)

We got ours last year. Was great to start off with but now ditching it for camp bed SIM combo. Had to keep inflating on last 2 trips. Im done with air beds now.

AnneA521: I must admit we are SIM fans too (just on their own). We’ve had them about 3 years and find them warm and comfortable. What you sleep on is such a personal thing, what one person thinks is comfortable, another may feel they’ve just spent the night on a pile of bricks.

Bought a double one of these for our trip next week. Am laid on it at the mo only cost £18. Will reserve judgement til I've slept on it for two weeks, but figure it won't be too much of a loss at that price.

Will have our trusty rubberised cotton singles as back-up in case of any probs - always be prepared!
