loads will swear by cadacs, cobs, etc but we use and have for years our campingaz double burner with grill, has never let us down, the only downside is having to take gas bottle, but small downside really. Hope this helps.

We have the same as Zeelees. We are going to change our gas bottle this year though for litegas to cut down on the weight. We did look at a cadac but for one big enough, we just dont have the room, which is such a shame as we have seen other campers cook on them and they look great.
We have a cadac safari and it's fab. It's new and we've only used it one one trip this last week. We also took our Campingaz double burner/grill and found that we did all our cooking on the cadac and didn;t use the other one. The only thing I would find difficult with the cadac is, for instance, if I were to cook something like spaghetti bolognaise or curry and rice where I would need two burners - one for the bolognaise/curry and one for the spaghetti/rice.
Another vote for the Campingaz double burner and grill.
Perfect for using two burners at once (spag bol a favourite with my boys)and packs away neatly in the bag ready for next time.
You could also take a look at the Sunngas Grillmaster. We've had no problems with ours, and it packs away neatly with built in windshields and splashguard.
Thats a good price, we looked at "upgrading" ours, but couldn't see anything that could take its place. I have cooked allsorts on ours, even putting one pan ontop of another..effectively "steaming" veg ontop of pan of potatoes whilst making a sauce on the other burner and grilling chops... beat that cadac! (no offense to cadac owners!)

Just been to Aldi and purchased the coolbox at a great price and just to remind anybody who is not aware there are lots of camping godies this Thursday at Aldi
We have a Gelert suitcase stove with grill and also a cadac safari chef. The grill on our stove isn't the greatest though, it took about 20 mins to toast some bread!
I'm a new cadac lover, but would take a double burner too for meals that are more than one pot.

Hi mlg428.
That's a great deal, I was in Tesco Blackpool last Wednesday, and they had the "CampinGaz Camping Chef" on clearance yellow ticket at £33.33 only had 3 on the shelf, according to the box no regulator, but the gas hose was included.

It's normal for the regulator not to be included as it's specific to the type of bottle and gas that you are using.
