I have just bought a Bradcot Portico XL Plus awning that comes with the easy alloy system and have a few problems with fitment.
The 2 rear poles fix into a hinged bracket that connects with the cross pole on one side and the quick fix pad on the other. The upright pole has a bend near the top that takes it away from the caravan wall.
My first problem is that when connected together, the hook seems too far away from the pad. Has anyone else had this problem?
Secondly, do I really need to use the rear poles? The Portico comes with beading along both edges which means that it can fit like a full awning to the rear of the caravan.
