    i used to take one of the three way folding sunbeds , when i went campimg , for its original purpose and as the bed , with a folded duvet under me and one for over me , can't abide a sleeping bag as to restrictive ,, oh and a bottle of choice for a nightcap ,,

I have a camp bed too and like a previous poster I put a 10cm SIM on top.

I don't always use the camp bed, but it is nice to have the extra height and storage space underneath. Sometimes tents have sloped sides which means that I can't use the campbed and I just use the SIM on it's own, which is just as comfortable.

My kids have 5cm SIMs and didn't want camp beds (I did offer to get them camp beds but they declined). They're happy on the floor.
