Me and the wife have just bought a double sleeping bag. it is not really big enough. Has anyone come across a extra large bag or one that you could zip another single bag to a double? Im a big fella and long for some comfort!!

Vango Galaxy 350 XLs. Come with a right and a left to zip together, nice and toasty and plenty of room for me (20 stone) and SWMBO (cough, couldn't possibly say, cough, but nice and cuddly!)

We have just bought two Outwell Camper Lux sleeping bags which zip together. You can buy them with a left or a right hand zip. If you buy one of each they zip together nicely and you can leave the integrated hood / pillow on. Season 3/4 ( theoretically) so nice and warm.
The only drawback is a fairly large pack size, so you need a bit of space for them both.

We have the Campus Adventure XL bags which are about 90cm wide if I remember correctly.

If you buy a left and a right bag you can then zip them together to make a large double.

I have the Galaxy XL 350 just all for me, i love it as i have plenty of room to move around in it, and dont feel hemmed in the way a mummy sleeping bag makes you feel. I just use the bag for my own single use, I did however go away at Easter and found i woke up freezing cold through the night, but we were on a site that didnt have ehu.  Wont do that again!!!
