We have just got back from a short camping trip and just before we went we bought a (very small) camp kitchen. To be honest it is just a slatted top table for the cooker with a smaller table at the side for chopping things on and another slatted shelf under the cooker.

We only started camping last year and up till now I have made do with a very low table for the cooker, and for any chopping I had to rest the chopping board on my lap.

So - can you guess how thrilled I was with my new set-up? Especially when we added in the Quechua tarp we got from Decathalon a couple of days before we went....

I told my husband that he is very lucky I am so easily pleased - most women want shoes, handbags or clothes - but I am thrilled to bits with a cheap aluminium and plastic table. I love it!!!

Lovvvl no u r not sad!! we have only been camping 4 times and get vvvvvvv excited eachtime!! we have the same kitchen i think and love love love it!!
my OH thinks im sad cos im on here everyday!!! Doh they nag u to get a hobby then when u do!!! lol

Not sad at all! I recently got laughed at as it was my birthday a few weeks ago and got about £70 from family and I brought myself a new camping cooker, gas bottles and a new cupboard for our camping bedroom.

Id rather put the money into where I feel most relaxed! Camping with my hubby and mutt! :o)
