We dont co sleep as such, but have many 'visitors' through the night at home, and welcome them to sleep in my bed in order to get some sort of sleep however cramped it is. I have a kingsize bed, a king size fella, superking duvet, a 4 year old and 3 year old twins. We have been known to wake up to at least one child in our bed with no recollection as to when they got in with us, sometimes its more than one but its a squeeze with all three in with us although do-able.
When we first went camping with all 3 kids, our eldest was 2 months off 3 and the twins were not quite 2 yet (but by a few weeks), and we had seporate 'bedrooms'. It was a big mistake as our bed was cosy for us, and their room cosy for them but not warm enough for me to go in there with them and too cramped for them in with us. So we got a new tent with one large 6man bedroom. It does have a toggle in divider but it isnt used. We have a double air bed and sleep in a regular fashion. The kids slept width ways on another air bed, but made sure that i could scooch over and quickly re arrange the bed clothes to accomodate me and one or more kids.
All is well and good untill we have a bed wetter amongst us... erugh!
------------- Motherhood - it dont get easier, it just gets different.
