How do you wash your tent carpets? We've been away 4 times with the carpet in and its looking grubby can I just stick it in the wash I cant find any wash instructions anywhere
Ours is too big to wash in the machine - I usually just give it a good hoover and spray with Febreze or similar, spot wash any actual stains with a carpet cleaner spray. But if it was small enough, I would pop it in on a 30 degree wash, probably the wool wash or similar!
------------- April/May - Georgia destroyed in high winds sob

------------- Experience enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
My son was sick on ours, wiped it over with solution of dettol in slightly soapy water and left it to dry in the sun. Couple of days later he spilled a bowl of weetabix on it, we wrapped it up and put it in the washing machine on a gentle wash when we got home then left it to dry on the washing line. Made sure it was totally dry then into storage ready for next trip.

I wash my picnic rugs on a cool wash in the washing machine then hang out to dry. They are pretty much the same as tent carpet.
