Hi, does anyone know where I can buy one of these at the best price. Anyone bought one? There are a couple of places online but I am wary of buying from companies I've not heard of.

I've just bought one of these from bbq.co.uk which is a calor gas website. It cost me £71 with delivery. I ordered last Sunday and recieved it Tuesday morning. It was well packaged but the only thing was there's no instructions. Don't know if it's supposed to come with any or not. Not a problem for me though as I have read lots about it on here

Hi, ther are a few companies online Leisureshopdirect. £59.95+£9 worldofmarine. £62+£4 socal Southampton. £59+£6
Not heard of them though!
I think socal is the same company as the bbq.co.uk one I used. Wasn't sure before I ordered but when I got my confirmation email it was from Southampton calor gas centre.
hi if you compare the coleman and the igloo maxcold side by side you will notice the difference the coleman is a lot larger and has about 2" thick walls they use polylite which is an ok insulation but more is needed to preform up to 5 days the igloo has a 1" thick walls and uses ultratherm polyurathene insulation patented to igloo this was deleloped back in the 60s for the nasa space program and is still currently used today but preformance wise there is very little difference over 5 days however the igloo in the uk temps will carry on longer due to the far more superior insulation as for costco they import through the grey market and bring in around 3-4 models aimed at the catering market costco is alsothe 5th largest retailer in the world and is igloos 2ndlargest account behind walmart and they have the buying power that alot of retailers cant compete with but they do not do the full range in the uk
we sell both the igloo and coleman and we have been selling igloo coolers in the uk since 1989 if i was to choose personaly between the 2 it would be an igloo over colman any day
Hi, managed to find it for £62.50 inc delivery from Camper Van Accessories outdoor leisure shop.
I did notice that you have now purchased one. Thought I would list this in case anyone else is looking for one. I've not used the website before, has anyone else heard of/used them before...?
Hi.. anyone know if the lid on the Igloo Maxcold 50 can be removed? Looking to get one, but with the dimensions given on their website, it will not fit through my saloon car's (Honda Accord '54) boot opening (a matter of maybe 1-2cm too small to fit it in the right way up, although it will fit with the lid on once in the boot).
Or, does it have a seal around the lid, so that I can load it on it's side and leave it that way for the journey without it leaking?
Considered getting the Maxcold 40, but would prefer one with a drain and also need it by beginning of August.
