I'm sure someone has answered this but I can't find a thread:
I have bought a new Kampa Alfresco double burner/grill which is exactly the same as my previous dble burner/grill apart from the gas hose connector.
Previous one was a knurled screw-on connector which started leaking and could not be repaired so is now in the garage.
The new stove has a tapered, ribbed stem which I assume needs a hose/jubilee clip attachment. Have I got that right or is there a quick connection that doesn't need a screwdriver every time I connect/disconnect?
yes it is a two peace you fit one to each end with clip and they snap togever, also if you connect the female part on the gas bottle side it will cut off the supply when disconnected.
When we had a butane stove, I just left the hose and regulator permanently attached to the cooker. The quick release connectors are useful if you want to use both Calor and Campingaz at different times.

Unless you need to use 'em for another appliance,I'd be just leaving the hose & regulator attached to stove(..as you'd be disconnecting the reg' from the gas bottle anyway..)
