I saw on the Go Outdoors website that they were advertising a 7 pole Blue Diamond wind break for
£20.74- 53% off
I hasten to add this deal was also not part of the special offers requiring a voucher.
They were marked up in the shop at about £40, so there was me thinking that the price had obviously not been revised in line with "special offer"
The price at the till was again in the region of the £40 figure.
When I questioned the price and made reference to the price on the website I was told that it was probably a "web" only price.
Needless to say I asked them to pull up the website and look at it themselves, which after much muttering they duly did, also at the same time checking the voucher page.
The conclusion of this was a begrudging
"well I suppose that you had better charge him £20.74 then"
Brilliant windbreaks for that price - who cares what their miserable staff think as long as you get the deal! You hear so many tales of this happening at Go Outdoors that I would definitely be taking the leaflet or a print out of the deal with me in future!
I reserved my 7 pole Diamond windbreak online on thurs so went to pick it up yesterday, but looked at the price on the shop floor first and it was £40 at that time a superviser was walking past so i told her i had reserved one and i expected to get it at £20.74 as on the website, she said you have to have a voucher to get it at that price and it definetly said that on the web but dont worry we have some vouchers at the till so i got it for £20.74 but when i looked on the web there was no mention of having to have a voucher to get it at that price.
so in future if i am buying somthing reduced from them i will print it out cause it seems they dont no what they should be charging after reading the posts on here
I managed to get the last Outwell Mocha windbreak today for £22.99.. no idea how they worked out that price with voucher seeing as on the Web it's listed as £33 but who's complaining!
I wanted a green one though so will go back when they have the green in stock in a couple of weeks and just do a straight replacement.
thanks for this, wanted a blue one to go with the caravan . Have reserved one and will print out the price and reservation as its let me reserve for instore collection.

We've bought our first windbreak, so that we can use the Cadac when weather looks a bit iffy. We only paid £14.99 from Netto - also available on the net - it's a cheapo. We'll see how we get on..... At £15 it's not the end of the world if it onjly lasts for one season. Looks like this:

The voucher for 40% off all windbreaks ended yesterday voucher ... you might not get the special price if you haven't already picked it up!
(Yes, they are entitled to do this, it's like the Argos system - you pay the price that it is on the day you collect).
(edit, the 7 pole is currently showing at £40.50 on the web).
