It is fantastic - we have had this bed for 3 years now and it is still going strong. The great thing about it if after a day or two you feel it is going down a bit. If you have the pump button at your pillow end you can just stretch out and add more air without even getting out of bed! You can easily feel if you have put enough air in that way. I always carry a spare set of four D batteries just in case, but they hardly ever need replacing. I really dont know why manufacturers only make this sort of blow up bed - no need for carrying extra pumps and all the hassle of pumping with a foot or some other additional contraption. If and when this bed wears out I will certainly get another.
