Long-nose gas lighter for the stove!

We are so sad we actually paid a visit to the local Go Outdoors on our trip. :) Hubby looking very forlorn from a burn finger so I treated him.

Apart from newish combi camp with annexe, new table and chairs - same ones as my brother had last year, great to have more space on table, and benches to squeeze more round table, decent folding chairs for all so kids don't keep pinching mine, folding wardrobe/larder and halogen oven. Plus lots of small odds and ends! Off camping soon, and can't wait!

Either my Montana 6 canopy for the front of my Vermont XL, or my Lidl loo (not having to trudge across a field at 3:00am).. I may well order one of these though,

and that would probably end up being my new fave.

My best friend bought me a 'mighty bright' for my camping night-time reads! I use it at home too! You know your a camping addict when all your birthday presents are camping related and you get over-excited about them more than the perfume, kids home-made pressies and going out top! Even my kids got me a spork!

It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.

Last year's best bit of kit was the proper rubber lilo-style airbed, finally got a decent night's sleep, hopefully won't have to replace for years, and it makes the tent smell like my childhood.
This year's hit (apart from a new tent) was the Mobicool U32 coolbox - cold beer good! We've got another little fridge but the wife keeps on insisting we put food in it!
