In local Asda today noticed camping stuff for sale, among them LED lanterns, has anyone bought these particular ones, think they had 12 led lights, were a tenner.

Have a look at the asda ufo lights. I bought mine in the bit where all the lightbulbs are. It cost a fiver, and is probably the best bit of kit we've got. I like it cos you can take the middle hook out, and stick it over an empty beer bottle to make an inpromtu table lamp

I bought the lantern is it the wind up one that also comes with a cigarette lighter adapter??
If so they are ok I used it when we went away for two days first night it seemed to be quite bright but then the second night not so much (I did wind it up for ages and it seemed to run out quicker) I am going to wilkinsons this afternoon to buy these

Just so you know I have just bought the lights I linked to you before from wilkinsons................all I can say is WOW they are super bright!!!! I bought 3 as I have a XL tent, I though I would need all of them but I think we will only need to have two on to light up the whole tent and pods(dont look at them like I just have you will have spots in your eyes for a week

 Hi Gill you will find they are superb, I have been using 5 of these status lights for about 4 years and so far only one has given up the ghost. Ive found that a fresh set of batteries each year will do ive been using duracell and then putting the ones from last year in things like radios small torches etc till they die.

Btw staus is the manufacturer but they are sold by a few different retailers sometimes under their own name.

we use 2 of them wilkos lights in our MASSIVE tent and they are fantastic , really bright x
