Quite expensive the wheel clamps. Anyway none would fit my 10" wheels.

I opted for a hitch lock instead for about £15ish

Depends on the size of your trailer wheels.

Our trailer has 13" wheels and the sas clamp turned out to be the best after trying several types, as it covered the wheel nut and tightened up properly. trailer wheels are narrower than most modern car wheels.

One bit of advice, I discovered is that cheap wheel clamps don't fit well

You can get clamps for smaller trailer wheels. try ebay. but in my opinion if you think theft is a risk then get the best clamp your budget will go to.

Check Towsure - they sell various wheelclamps suitable for wheels 10" up to 17"

See here:
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.towsure.com/search/wheelclamp

We have a Milenco wheel clamp which is great but very heavy.

our old bulldog fits 10" wheels fine and can be adjusted to suite thinner tyres.I certainly wouldnt stump up full price for any of them ,my fiver bulldog does its job of pretending the trailers secure to passers bye
all a bit pointless though modern battery angle grinders will remove anything you try! you only put off part time thieves
been buying heavy duty chain (supposed uncut-able ) and large padlocks at least the trailer will be more than a 5 minute job to take ,its chained to 3 concrete posts and our SORNed car

on sites i dont bother we are rarely out of the TT more time than it takes to dismantle it

Thanks for all the advice. I'm gonna get one from towsure. Like fatb    loke 28 says if they really want it they"ll have it. So I'm not to keen on paying out to much. Its mainly for during the day when were off site. We'll be taking the bikes with us so when were not using them we could chain them to the trailer to.
