Hi, I am sure that I have printed off a check-list from here in previous years. Also a list of menu ideas. I thought that both had been pinned somewhere, but blowed if I can find them now Anyone seen them and could point me in the right direction?

Thanks

I did a search for the word essential in the camping and caravanning section and one of the results was a check list. I can't post the link though. Stupid phone won't do that.
Hope this helps

Checklist:
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/articles/view.asp?id=7

Meal ideas:
* Chicken and vegetable fahitas
* Stew and Dumplings/Casserole
* "Roast" dinner
* Full English brekkie
* Meatballs in tomato and basil sauce with rice or pasta
* Bangers and Mash
* Jacket potatoes
* Chilli con carne
* Spaghetti bolognaise
* Spanish omelette and salad
* Pasta with chicken, peppers, onion and broccoli
* Salmon with boiled new potatoes and veg/salad
* Rissotto
* Paella
* Kebabs (seafood, chicken, vegetable)
* BBQ - burgers, sausages, chicken drumsticks, steak etc...

and for pudding
BBQ scones
Baked bananas stuffed with Mars Bars or chocolate buttons

I have cooked all of these dishes using 2 stoves and a BBQ.
I find my 3 tier stainless steel steamer very useful as you can cook a whole meal in it using just one burner.

Have a good trip!

What I`ve started to do is print off a list (I`ve saved it in Word on my PC) and then take it with you

over the holiday if you think of something that would be useful you just add it to the list for next time
